I
recently sat in a large room with hundreds of people whose lives had been and were still being touched by knowing someone with Down syndrome. We shared a common bond. There were hundreds of stories that could have been shared that day. The stories in the book Lives Touched by Down Syndrome and on this site are a small sampling of the experiences of people touched by Down syndrome.In an effort to encourage the continued sharing of stories about lives touched by Down syndrome this website has been made. The goal is for this site to become a vast collection of stories that will uplift the spirit and bring many people joy as well as provide information for those who have just begun the journey of knowing someone with Down syndrome.
